Editorial Policy

Our standards for sources, corrections, recommendations, and commercial links.

Source hierarchy

  1. Official statements from publishers, the author's official account, and recognized literary organizations.
  2. Official book listings, ISBN records, award organizations, and publisher catalogues.
  3. Established news organizations and clearly attributed interviews.
  4. Secondary databases only when primary material is unavailable, with uncertain details labeled accordingly.

What we do not publish

We do not invent quotations, family statements, reviews, plot details, publication dates, or translation plans. Rumors and unconfirmed social posts are not presented as facts.

Reviews and recommendations

“Best” lists and reading recommendations are editorial judgments rather than objective rankings. They should explain who a book is for, avoid unnecessary spoilers, and remain separate from retailer relationships.

Corrections and updates

Time-sensitive pages show an update date and link to key sources. Material corrections are made in the page itself rather than hidden by changing the publication date. Please report errors toeditor@rememberingkeigo.com.
